Watford is surrounded by golf courses, with 3 within approximately a 10 minute drive from the town centre of Watford:
- The Grove – The 7,152 yard golf course at The Grove is one of England’s finest luxury golf courses. The 18 hole layout, follows a majestic route through the rolling leafy Hertfordshire landscape. In 2006 it hosted the World Golf Championship and is open to members and visitors.
- West Herts Golf Club – A private members’ club, its beautiful 18 hole country course is set in woodland with beautiful surroundings, tree lined fairways and well-bunkered greens.
- Bushey Hall Golf Club – The oldest parkland golf course in Hertfordshire, the 6,005 yard golf course is a truly splendid and secluded setting for a day’s golf. It is open to members and visitors.
