Watford Borough Council’s vision for Watford is to deliver a family friendly town centre through revitalising its retail heart and enhancing the quality and accessibility of the public environment.
Whilst the Town Centre is clearly successful, the Council recognise that more needs to be done to improve its attractiveness to a wider range of visitors and for it to remain competitive with other centres. In response, the Council is pursuing the redevelopment of Charter Place - a 1970’s town centre shopping centre with 39 units, extending to approximately 300,000sqft (27,870 sq.m). |
